A full container of Foshan furniture for a house in Orange County, California: a marble-top desk and leather chair, a round marble dining table for eight, an upholstered bed and mattress, a living room set with a marble coffee table, a curved boucle sofa and side tables.
The container reached the house at 09:41 on 22 August 2026. Crates came off by hand and by ramp from 09:54.
By 19:52 the first room was finished; the bed at 20:18; desk and living room at 21:47; dining room at 21:48. Every room furnished the same day, packaging removed.
“Sea freight to the door” is not the finish line. Unloading, uncrating, assembly and waste removal are — and they were included.
The 40-foot box arrived on a chassis and was worked directly at the house. Inside, every piece was in a timber-braced crate or a caged frame — the marble tops and the bed frame crated hard, the upholstery wrapped and caged so nothing bore on the fabric. The crates came off by ramp, one man to a corner.
Pieces from several factories collected, inspected and crated at one warehouse; container loaded by weight and fragility.
Container delivered to the residential address on a chassis on the agreed date.
Doors open; unloading by hand and ramp begins 09:54.
Crates opened outside; bed, desk, tables and seating assembled room by room.

No transload, no shared warehouse, no second appointment: the box is opened at the door and emptied by the same crew that installs.
Bed, desk, tables and seating assembled and positioned in sequence, so the family had a bedroom before the crew finished the dining room.
Crates, wrap and cardboard removed the same evening.
Often, yes — on a chassis, if the street and driveway allow. Where they do not, the contents are transloaded to a box truck (see our Los Angeles case). Either way, on a Source Foshan project the crew that unloads also uncrates, assembles and clears the packaging.
Here, one day: container open at 09:41, first crate off at 09:54, last room finished at 21:48 on 22 August 2026. Time depends on the number of pieces, how many need assembly and access to the house.
