Our sourcing team is based in Foshan, China, and serves clients worldwide. Company details and the business licence are published on our About page.

Information involved in your visit

• Inquiries: your name, email address or WhatsApp number, the type of buyer you are, delivery destination, optional budget range and timeline, and the sourcing brief you choose to send.
• Project discussions: correspondence and any specifications, floor plans, drawings or reference images you subsequently choose to share with us by email, WhatsApp or WeChat. Please do not send passports, payment-card details, passwords or other unrelated sensitive information through the inquiry form.
• Technical information: like any website, page requests disclose an IP address, browser and device information and the pages requested to the services that deliver the site (hosting, security and content delivery).
• Website measurement and advertising: Google Analytics and Google Ads tags are loaded through Google Tag Manager. What they store and how to control them is described in our Cookie Policy.

The website form does not take payments and has no file-upload control. Agree a sharing method with our team before sending project documents.

Why information is used

We use your contact details and brief to receive your request, reply to it and discuss the sourcing support you are asking about. If you proceed with a project, we use the information you give us to compare suppliers, prepare quotations, arrange showroom and factory visits, place and track orders, organise inspection, consolidation and delivery, and keep the project records the work requires.

The inquiry endpoint keeps a short-lived rate-limit record based on a hash of the requesting IP address, for one minute, to reduce repeated or automated submissions.

Legal grounds. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: taking steps at your request before entering a contract and performing the contract for project work; our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and responding to inquiries; legal obligations such as accounting and tax record-keeping; and your consent for analytics and advertising measurement where consent is required in your location. Sending an inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing, and we do not sell personal information.

Where information goes

Website inquiries are delivered by email to hello@sourcefoshan.com. The website is hosted by Kinsta, and inquiry emails are sent through our transactional email service provider; both process information only as needed to deliver the site and its messages.

When a project needs it, we share only the information necessary for the task with the suppliers, workshops, inspectors, freight forwarders and customs brokers involved: typically product specifications, quantities, delivery destination and the consignee details required for shipping documents. We do not pass your contact details to suppliers for their own marketing. Avoid including personal details in drawings or reference files when they are not needed for the sourcing task.

Google receives information through the analytics and advertising services described in the Cookie Policy. WhatsApp, WeChat, map links and other external sites operate under their own privacy notices when you use or follow them.

International transfers. Our team works in China and our technology providers operate in other countries, so information you send us is processed outside your own country. We limit what we collect and share to what the sourcing work needs, restrict access to the team members working on your project, and apply the safeguards required by the law that applies to you where a transfer mechanism is needed.

Your saved showroom route

The showroom directory stores the identifiers of places you save under sourcefoshan-showroom-route-v2 in your browser’s local storage, so your route remains available on that browser. The saved route is not sent to our team automatically.

Export creates a text file on your device; you decide whether and how to share it. Use Clear route in the directory to empty the saved list, or remove the site’s stored data through your browser settings.

How long information is kept

• Inquiries that do not become projects: kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange so we can follow up if you come back, then deleted.
• Project records: kept for the duration of the project and for as long afterwards as accounting, tax, customs and contract law require, and to handle after-sales questions under the agreed terms.
• Email and backups: mailbox copies follow the schedule above; hosting backups are retained for a limited period by our hosting provider and then overwritten.
• Rate-limit record: one minute.
• Saved showroom route: until you clear it or your browser removes it. Google cookie lifetimes are set by Google’s services and described in the Cookie Policy.

Privacy questions and requests

Email hello@sourcefoshan.com with the subject Privacy request. Tell us what you need and enough context to locate the relevant correspondence. Do not send identity documents unless we have first agreed a proportionate way to verify your request.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to access or correct your information, to ask for deletion or restriction, to object to certain uses, to receive a portable copy, or to withdraw consent. We respond within the period the applicable law sets, and normally within 30 days.

You may also raise a concern with the data-protection authority relevant to your location. This notice does not remove any rights that applicable law gives you.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when our services or data handling change, and show the date of the last update at the top of the page. Where a change requires a new choice from you, continuing to browse will not be treated as acceptance.
