Service Commitments

Clear expectations, before we start. A sourcing relationship works best when the scope, checks and responsibilities are written down.

At a glance

  • One agreed brief connects the suppliers involved in your project.
  • Quality checks should refer to approved specifications, not assumptions.
  • Product remedies and costs depend on written terms and applicable rights.

A sourcing coordinator, not every manufacturer

Source Foshan brings supplier search, showroom visits, specification coordination and project follow-up into one sourcing workflow. Furniture, cabinetry, doors, windows, flooring and other materials may come from different specialist businesses.

For each engagement, establish who is the seller, manufacturer, service provider, importer and installer, where relevant. Our involvement should be defined in the project scope rather than inferred from a showroom listing or product photograph.

Explore Furniture Sourcing, Whole Home Sourcing and Interior Systems for the services currently described on this site.

Start with a written brief

Use your floor plan, room list, reference images, approximate budget and delivery destination to define the sourcing task. For a China visit, confirm the showroom shortlist, appointments, interpreter or guide scope, travel arrangements and any service charges before the visit.

A saved route is a planning aid, not a booking. Our guided sourcing visit page explains how to start planning with the local team.

Make approval specific

Before an order or production stage is approved, confirm the relevant dimensions, materials, finishes, quantities, hardware, drawings and samples. Identify the supplier and any differences between an approved reference and the proposed product.

For custom furniture and building materials, document site assumptions and installation interfaces. Record change requests with their effects on cost, timing and the approval record.

See Custom Furniture for the specification-to-production workflow.

Agree what quality checks cover

The website’s quality-control service covers checks against confirmed requirements and coordination before shipment. Your project should specify when inspection takes place, which products or samples are checked, the checklist, available records and who decides whether an issue has been resolved.

Inspection has limits: sampling, visual checks or photographs do not establish the absence of every defect, verify hidden construction or replace required laboratory testing, certification or destination-code review. Agree specialist testing where it is needed.

Set delivery responsibilities before dispatch

Confirm packaging, consolidation, delivery terms, insurance arrangements, customs responsibilities and the destination services included in the quote. Do not assume duties, local delivery, unloading or installation are included unless they are stated.

Lead times and routes depend on the supplier, freight arrangements and destination. Keep approved packing lists and other agreed shipping records available for the receiving party.

If something is wrong

Contact your project contact or hello@sourcefoshan.com with the order reference, affected item, description and relevant photos or video. Keep packaging and delivery records where safe and practical, and check any notice requirements in the relevant contract or carrier terms promptly.

The next step is to identify the issue, responsible party and available remedy under the agreed terms and applicable law. A repair, replacement, credit, refund or shipping contribution is not automatic simply because an item appears on this website.

This page does not add a universal warranty period, unconditional refund promise, lowest-price guarantee or blanket compensation obligation. Any additional commercial warranty or service promise should be set out in the relevant agreement. Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies provided by applicable law.

Your pre-payment checklist

  • Correct contracting entity and verified payment details.
  • Approved specification, drawings or samples and quantities.
  • Item prices, service fees, payment milestones and change procedure.
  • Inspection scope and approval responsibilities.
  • Delivery terms, insurance, destination costs and installation scope.
  • Applicable warranty, cancellation, returns and issue-resolution terms.

Ask about any unclear item before committing. Send a project brief to discuss the scope you need.
