Landing, then the transfer
Every route ends the same way: an hour on the ground between the arrivals hall and Lecong.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port passenger service was suspended on 16 July 2026 with no restart date announced. Older guides still recommend it.

Hotel and resort briefs need the contract line and the factory behind it in the same day. Outdoor pieces are judged on material and finish, which is easier at the factory.

The malls. Room sets, retail-facing prices, and enough sofas in one morning to make a shortlist from.
Longjiang 龙江
Sofa and upholstery factories. Come here after the malls, when you want to know what the price is made of.
Dongguan 东莞

What Tanzanian buyers get caught on
- 01TBS conformity is checked through the PVoC programme, and the requirement depends on the HS code. Confirm the scope before production.
- 0218% VAT on import plus duty by commodity code, and the PVoC certificate has to name the same HS code.
- 03230 V, Type D and G. Type G is standard; Type D appears in older installations.
- 04Dar es Salaam is the port, and Zanzibar adds a ferry leg. Crates have to fit the vessel, and resort access may limit size and weight.
- 05Zanzibar resort projects need salt-resistant finishes and repeatable villa packages. Ask for the salt-spray result before approving an outdoor frame.
