What Russian buyers get caught on
- 01Russia applies 20% VAT on import plus duty by commodity code. The payment route, not the tax, is usually the blocking issue.
- 02EAC certification applies to a wide range of goods under the customs union. Confirm the scope and who holds the certificate before production.
- 03220 V, Type C and F. Russian installations are the EU pattern.
- 04St Petersburg serves the west and Vladivostok the east. The eastern route is often faster to Siberia but requires a different forwarder.
