Landing, then the transfer
Every route ends the same way: an hour on the ground between the arrivals hall and Lecong.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port passenger service was suspended on 16 July 2026 with no restart date announced. Older guides still recommend it.

What Portuguese buyers get caught on
- 01Portugal is an EU market: CE where a directive applies, EUTR timber due diligence, 23% VAT on import — one of the higher rates in Western Europe.
- 02Sines and Leixões are the main ports. The inland leg to the Algarve is long enough to matter, so ask for a delivered quote, not a port quote.
- 03230 V, Type C and F. Coastal specifications matter: salt air and humidity change the finish and the hardware.
- 04Algarve rental villas are usually furnished to a repeatable standard across several units. That is a different brief from a single home, and it should be stated at quotation.
- 05Portuguese buyers often compare a Foshan quote against a Spanish or Italian supplier. The comparison only works if the specification is written the same way on both sides.
