Romania to Foshan: the connecting route and a coordinated order
Bucharest has no nonstop to China, so the trip starts with a connection. Romanian orders are usually apartment-led, and the buyer wants one supplier who can coordinate several categories rather than five who each ship separately.

- Drop at your hotel — or straight to a showroom if you land early, with parking and tolls settled
On a 23:40 landing the transfer reaches Lecong about an hour later — enough daylight for one showroom.

A paid service, not a free transfer: one arrival, one vehicle, one drop-off. Parking included; tolls at cost. The credit is valid for six months from your arrival date.
Landing, then the transfer
Every route ends the same way: an hour on the ground between the arrivals hall and Lecong.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port passenger service was suspended on 16 July 2026 with no restart date announced. Older guides still recommend it.
The days on the ground
Four days is the working minimum for anything beyond a single category. Appointments are booked before you land, and each evening you get a written recap of what you saw and what is still open.
- Day 1
Land and calibrate
Land and settle. An hour in Lecong is enough to reset your expectations before buying
- Day 2
Lecong showrooms
Yesterday was calibration. Today is the shortlist: Lecong, against your own list, priced line by line
- Day 3
Factories behind the malls
Today belongs to the workshops, in Longjiang or Nanzhuang
- Day 4
Samples and sign-off
Samples and the custom list, then sign-off before the airport run

Where the days are actually spent
Hotel and resort briefs need the contract line and the factory behind it in the same day.
Lecong 乐从
The malls. Room sets, retail-facing prices, and enough sofas in one morning to make a shortlist from.
Longjiang 龙江
Factory town for upholstery. The material markets behind it are where a showroom price stops being a mystery.
Dongguan 东莞
OEM and ODM factories built for export, roughly 90 minutes down the road.

Where to stay
Where you sleep decides how much of the day you spend in a car.

What Romanian buyers get caught on
- 01Romania is an EU market: CE where a directive applies, EUTR timber due diligence, 21% VAT on import.
- 02Constanța is the Black Sea port and shortens the inland leg considerably compared with Koper or Hamburg. Ask for both routings before choosing.
- 03230 V, Type C and F. Romanian installations are standard EU.
- 04Apartment developments need the same unit repeated. Confirm the factory can hold a finish across the run and check the first unit before the rest ship.
- 05Romanian buyers compare hard on price. The comparison only holds if both sides quote against the same written specification.
Practical specification checks, not certification advice. Confirm current requirements with your importer or testing body.

Questions Romanian buyers ask
How do I get from Romania to Foshan?
No nonstop. Bucharest connects via Doha, Dubai or Istanbul, then Guangzhou — 14 to 16 hours.
Do Romanian passports need a visa for China?
No, up to 30 days. Romania is on China's unilateral visa-free list, currently valid to 31 December 2026.
Is Constanța a real alternative to Koper?
Yes, and it cuts the inland leg. Compare delivered quotes rather than port quotes.
How many days do I need?
Four, usually covering a whole development rather than one room.
Elsewhere in Europe
Buyers who come to Foshan rarely come alone: a household or a hotel brief often spans two markets.
