Peru to Foshan: one container, several categories, a long flight
Lima has no nonstop to China, so Peruvian buyers plan one long trip. The order is usually a mixed container — furniture plus building materials — which makes the loading plan the deciding document.

- Drop at your hotel — or straight to a showroom if you land early, with parking and tolls settled
A 09:35 touchdown puts you at the hotel before lunch, with the afternoon free for a first visit.

A paid service, not a free transfer: one arrival, one vehicle, one drop-off. Parking included; tolls at cost. The credit is valid for six months from your arrival date.
Landing, then the transfer
Three doors into the Pearl River Delta. Which one you use is a fare decision; the ground leg is what moves your first showroom.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port crossing stopped on 16 July 2026 and has not restarted. Any itinerary built on that ferry is already broken.
The days on the ground
Five days is the useful minimum for a whole home or a hotel brief. Appointments are booked before you land, and each evening you get a written recap of what you saw and what is still open.
- Day 1
Land and calibrate
Land, transfer, rest — then a short walk through Lecong to calibrate prices
- Day 2
Lecong showrooms
Showroom day in Lecong — two or three options a line, every one photographed and priced
- Day 3
Longjiang factories
Factory day in Longjiang. The same sofa, without the room set around it
- Day 4
Custom work and samples
Custom work and materials. By evening you should have a written recap, not a camera roll
- Day 5
Sign-off

Where the days are actually spent
Mixing flooring or bathroomware into the container changes the loading plan, so it changes the route.
Lecong 乐从
Where the trip starts: room-set showrooms, a hundred options before lunch, prices you can argue with.
Longjiang 龙江
Upholstery and sofa factories, plus the material markets behind them. Where a showroom price gets explained.
Nanzhuang 南庄
Ceramics and tile. A mixed container is planned around this district, not the other way round.

Where to stay
Sleep near the malls and the trip gets shorter, not cheaper.

What Peruvian buyers get caught on
- 01Peru applies 18% VAT on import plus duty by commodity code. The rates are moderate, so the freight and the inland leg carry more of the landed cost.
- 02Peruvian standards and Spanish labelling apply to consumer products. Confirm the scope with your broker.
- 03220 V, Type A and C. Peru mixes the flat-pin and round-pin patterns, so specify both.
- 04Callao serves Lima. The inland leg to the Andes adds altitude and distance; if the delivery is outside Lima, quote it separately.
- 05Mixed containers are normal: furniture plus tile plus sanitaryware. The packing list has to separate the categories so the customs entry can be checked.
Practical specification checks, not certification advice. Confirm current requirements with your importer or testing body.

Questions Peruvian buyers ask
How do I get from Peru to Foshan?
No nonstop. Lima connects via Doha, Dubai or Madrid, then Guangzhou — 28 to 32 hours door to door.
Do Peruvian passports need a visa for China?
No, up to 30 days. Peru is on China's unilateral visa-free list, currently valid to 31 December 2026.
Which port?
Callao, then road. Deliveries outside Lima need a separate inland quote.
Can furniture and materials share a container?
Yes, and they usually do. Plan the weight, and separate the categories on the packing list.
How many days do I need?
Five, because the journey is long and the order usually spans categories.
Elsewhere in South America
Buyers who come to Foshan rarely come alone: a household or a hotel brief often spans two markets.
