Landing, then the transfer
Three doors into the Pearl River Delta. Which one you use is a fare decision; the ground leg is what moves your first showroom.

Where the days are actually spent
Contract pieces come from factories that already build to a fire and wear standard. Hotel and resort briefs need the contract line and the factory behind it in the same day. Workspace projects sit closer to the export factories than to the Lecong malls.

What Colombian buyers get caught on
- 01Colombia applies 19% VAT on import plus duty by commodity code. The combined rate is significant, so the landed cost has to be modelled before comparing suppliers.
- 02Colombian standards and Spanish labelling apply to consumer products. Confirm the scope with your broker.
- 03110 V, Type A and B. Colombia is on the North American voltage pattern, which rules out most export stock.
- 04Cartagena and Buenaventura are the container ports. The inland leg to Bogotá is long and climbs, which affects both cost and transit.
- 05Contract buyers need repeatable units. Ask for the finish to be held across the run and check the first unit against the specification.
