Landing, then the transfer
Foshan has no international airport. The gateway you pick decides how much of your first day survives the landing.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. That route closed in July 2026 with no published reopening. Road or high-speed rail is the way in.

Where the days are actually spent
Hotel and resort briefs need the contract line and the factory behind it in the same day. Cabinetry pulls the route towards the workshop districts rather than the malls.
Lecong 乐从
The malls. Room sets, retail-facing prices, and enough sofas in one morning to make a shortlist from.
Longjiang 龙江
Factory town for upholstery. The material markets behind it are where a showroom price stops being a mystery.
Chancheng 禅城
City centre. Good base, good dinner, flagship showrooms for kitchen and bathroom.
Dongguan 东莞
Export-oriented OEM and ODM factories, about 90 minutes away.

What Moroccan buyers get caught on
- 01Morocco applies 20% VAT on import plus duty by commodity code, and the duties on furniture vary by category. Confirm the code before pricing.
- 02Moroccan standards and French or Arabic labelling apply to consumer products. Confirm the scope with your broker.
- 03220 V, Type C and E. The earthed Type E is standard in riads and hotels, and the older medina wiring may not carry the earth through.
- 04Casablanca and Tanger Med are the ports. Tanger Med is often faster for European-linked supply chains; Casablanca serves the south.
- 05Riad and hotel work needs custom joinery, and the drawings matter more than the catalogue. Bring dimensions and a reference detail.
