Landing, then the transfer
Every route ends the same way: an hour on the ground between the arrivals hall and Lecong.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port crossing stopped on 16 July 2026 and has not restarted. Any itinerary built on that ferry is already broken.

What Kuwaiti buyers get caught on
- 01Kuwait has not introduced VAT. Duty applies by commodity code, and the customs entry is separate from Saudi or UAE shipments.
- 02Kuwaiti standards and Arabic labelling apply to many consumer goods. Confirm the category requirement before printing packaging.
- 03240 V, Type G. Gulf specification, and the diwaniya's heavy air conditioning means the load has to be planned with the electrician.
- 04Shuwaikh is the main port. The inland leg is short, but clearance can take longer than the sailing if the paperwork is thin.
- 05Custom joinery is the core of most Kuwaiti orders. Bring drawings and dimensions, because a catalogue piece will not fit a diwaniya.
