Landing, then the transfer
Every route ends the same way: an hour on the ground between the arrivals hall and Lecong.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port crossing stopped on 16 July 2026 and has not restarted. Any itinerary built on that ferry is already broken.

What Qatari buyers get caught on
- 01Qatar has not introduced VAT. Duty applies by commodity code, so the landed cost is simpler than in Saudi Arabia or the UAE.
- 02SASO-style conformity is not required, but Qatari standards and Arabic labelling apply to many consumer goods. Confirm per category with your broker.
- 03240 V, Type G. Gulf specification, UK-pattern sockets.
- 04Hamad Port is the container gateway, with a short inland leg to Doha. Delivery windows around hotel openings are short, so plan backwards.
- 05Hotel and mall fit-outs dominate. A mock-up room is often required before bulk production, which adds a cycle to the schedule.
- 06Much of Doha's recent hotel stock sits in new builds along the metro corridor, with tight loading bays and lift-only access. Confirm the delivery route to the floor before the packing plan is fixed.
