Landing, then the transfer
Foshan has no international airport. The gateway you pick decides how much of your first day survives the landing.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port crossing stopped on 16 July 2026 and has not restarted. Any itinerary built on that ferry is already broken.

Where the days are actually spent
Cabinetry pulls the route towards the workshop districts rather than the malls. Mixing flooring or bathroomware into the container changes the loading plan, so it changes the route.

What Cameroonian buyers get caught on
- 01Cameroon applies 19.25% VAT on import plus duty by commodity code — one of the higher rates in the region.
- 02Cameroonian standards and French or English labelling apply to consumer products. Confirm the scope with your broker.
- 03230 V, Type C and E. The earthed Type E is the norm in Douala's newer buildings; older stock may lack the earth pin.
- 04Douala is the port, with a short inland leg to Yaoundé. The port is congested, so build days into the delivery date.
- 05Douala's humidity is hard on particle board. Ask for the panel grade and the edge sealing before comparing prices on a wardrobe.
