Landing, then the transfer
Every route ends the same way: an hour on the ground between the arrivals hall and Lecong.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port crossing stopped on 16 July 2026 and has not restarted. Any itinerary built on that ferry is already broken.

What Namibian buyers get caught on
- 01Namibia applies 15% VAT on import plus duty by commodity code, under the Southern African Customs Union tariff.
- 02Namibian standards and labelling apply to consumer products. Confirm the scope with your broker.
- 03220 V, Type D and M. The large three-pin Type M is standard in older installations.
- 04Walvis Bay is the port, with a long inland leg to Windhoek. The route is the scheduling risk.
- 05Lodge and guesthouse furniture dominates. Heat and dust decide the finish, and the specification should say so.
- 06Lodge interiors face heat and dust together. Fabric choices and drawer runners fail first; ask for both the wear figure and the hardware grade.
