Landing, then the transfer
Foshan has no international airport. The gateway you pick decides how much of your first day survives the landing.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port passenger service was suspended on 16 July 2026 with no restart date announced. Older guides still recommend it.

What Mongolian buyers get caught on
- 01Mongolia is landlocked. Containers land at Tianjin and cross at Erenhot by rail, which adds a border crossing and several days.
- 0210% VAT on import plus duty by commodity code, and the inland rail leg is assessed into the customs value.
- 03220 V, Type C and E. The earthed Type E is common in Mongolian installations.
- 04Tianjin–Erenhot–Ulaanbaatar is the standard route. The rail gauge change at the border is normal and adds time, not risk, if the paperwork is right.
- 05Volumes are modest, so minimum quantities per line are the first constraint. Confirm them before designing a full apartment package.
