Landing, then the transfer
Foshan has no international airport. The gateway you pick decides how much of your first day survives the landing.
Do not plan on the Hong Kong ferry. The Shunde Port passenger service was suspended on 16 July 2026 with no restart date announced. Older guides still recommend it.

What Slovenian buyers get caught on
- 01Slovenia is an EU market: CE where a directive applies, EUTR timber due diligence, 22% VAT on import.
- 02Koper is the port, and the inland leg to Ljubljana is under two hours. That is a genuine cost advantage over Austria, Hungary or Czechia.
- 03230 V, Type C and F. Slovenian installations are standard EU.
- 04Volumes are small and the buyers are exacting. A single hotel or a set of apartments is the usual brief, and the specification carries the decision.
