What Polish buyers get caught on
- 01Poland is an EU market: CE where a directive applies, EUTR timber due diligence, 23% VAT on import.
- 02Gdańsk and Gdynia are the container ports for most Polish importers. The inland leg is short and cheap, which is part of why Poland prices so tightly.
- 03230 V, Type C and E. Polish installations commonly use the earthed Type E socket, so specify it rather than the general EU plug.
- 04Development buyers need the same unit repeated across dozens of apartments. Ask the factory for a production plan that holds the finish constant across the run.
