Foshan / Hotel sofas and repeat wardrobe procurement
Hotel Lobby Sofas and Bulk Wardrobes from Foshan: Supplier Selection
Compare upholstery and cabinet operations against one project schedule. Includes a clearly illustrative 100-wardrobe/lobby budget, container model and sample-to-release decisions.
Hotel and apartment projects / Two supplier briefs, one controlled schedule
For hotel lobby sofas and bulk apartment wardrobes from Foshan, qualify the actual upholstery and cabinet operations separately. Use one item schedule, comparable written offers, an approved mock-up and a carton-level delivery plan. Lecong can help with product comparison and Longjiang with manufacturing enquiries, but a location, showroom or hotel logo does not establish commercial suitability. Choose the supplier against the actual specification and evidence.
Reviewed 31 October 2026. Prices, quantities, packed volumes and programme allowances below are explicit illustrations, not factory quotations or a completed hotel order.
01 / Start with the operation, not an unverified ranking
Where should a project buyer look for hotel furniture in Foshan?
Separate fixed joinery, loose casegoods and upholstery in the enquiry. A company may assemble the final piece while outsourcing frames, finishing or board processing. Ask who makes each stage, where it happens and who is contractually responsible. One attractive lobby display does not establish capacity for 100 room wardrobes or repeatable upholstery.
ال Shunde government town profile describes Lecong’s furniture trade and Longjiang’s furniture manufacturing/materials activity. Use that as orientation. It does not prove a particular factory’s MOQ, export ability, current capacity or hotel references. Confirm the actual production address before arranging a relevant appointment; do not rely on an assumed Nanhai/Sanshui “wardrobe park” directory or a market-wide factory count.
A shortlist can include more than one operation. Agree how many relevant offers and what audit/visit work the sourcing engagement covers. The Foshan–Dongguan comparison helps compare named suppliers; the showroom/factory/fair guide explains which visit resolves which question.
02 / Repeat units need a revision and an installation interface
How do you buy custom wardrobes in bulk for apartments?
Issue a wardrobe schedule by apartment type and room code. Specify width, height and depth in mm, ceiling/floor conditions, door swing or sliding clearances, internal divisions, fillers, skirting, wall fixings and the local installer’s responsibilities. Verify finished site dimensions locally before the supplier locks shop drawings. A repeated design does not mean every opening has identical tolerances.
| Line to define | What goes in the offer | What needs checking |
|---|---|---|
| Price unit | Complete unit, projected front elevation, or actual panel area | The same “per m²” number can describe different quantities of work |
| Each component | Carcass, back, shelves, doors, drawer boxes, thickness, surface and edging | Board/substrate identity, batch and relevant emissions evidence |
| الأجهزة | Exact model, count, load/application, fixing and adjustment | A brand name is not a complete hinge/runner specification |
| Delivery form | Assembled or KD, module/carton labels, hardware bags and instructions | Trial assembly, measured packing and destination labour |
| Change control | Approved revision, permitted variations and replacement components | Who can approve a substitution and which units it affects |
For example, a 2.4 m × 2.4 m front elevation is 5.76 m²; that is not the total board area inside the wardrobe. Confirm whether the offer includes drawers, rails, shelves, fittings, packing, freight and installation. A rate without that definition cannot be compared honestly. Use the fitted-joinery guide و material/interface reference when preparing the technical package.

For 100, 200 or 500 apartments, approve a representative full-size sample and record unit variants before the repeat run. Ask about board procurement, edge/finish consistency, hardware availability, machine files, outsourced processes and correction capacity. No verified universal MOQ or production cycle follows from the apartment count. Mixed consolidation does not waive any supplier’s model, finish or material minimum.
03 / A hotel sofa is an assembly and a use case
How do you shortlist manufacturers for lobby sofas?
Send the lobby layout, seat/module dimensions, intended traffic, access route, cleaning regime and applicable project requirements. A per-seat allowance needs an agreed definition of the seat/module: curves, arms, bases, loose cushions, leather/fabric coverage and connection details can materially change the offer.
- Identify the parties: legal seller, maker, production location, exporter and proposed corporate beneficiary.
- Check relevant production: frames, upholstery, sewing, finishing and outsourced operations on comparable products.
- Trace the assembly: frame/joints, suspension, filling, cover and removable/replacement parts.
- Review the evidence: exact product configuration, test method/edition, laboratory, date and results.
- Approve physical references: finish, fabric direction, seams, comfort and permitted variation.
- Confirm capacity: the actual dated programme, material commitments and a workable repeat-production plan.
- Agree remedy: corrections, reinspection, warranty by component and the cost of parts, labour and additional freight.
“Contract-grade”, a foam-density number or a five-star hotel logo is not a complete specification. Ask for permitted references and establish the supplier’s role in them; a photograph alone does not show who manufactured, tested or delivered the furniture. There is no universal D35 threshold, frame warranty or verified “best manufacturer” ranking on this page.
ال custom order process separates a rendering, material sample, prototype and production approval. A good-looking swatch cannot establish the comfort, durability or fire performance of a complete sofa.
04 / Define the arithmetic before discussing a per-room price
What could a bulk wardrobe and lobby package cost?
For arithmetic only, assume 100 wardrobes, each with 5.76 m² projected front elevation at USD 150/m², plus USD 25 hardware per unit, explicitly excluded from that panel rate. Wardrobes are USD 88,900. Add 12 lobby seats at USD 320, six lounge chairs at USD 180 and four coffee tables at USD 100: USD 5,320. Goods total USD 94,220. At an assumed 4% goods-basis fee plus USD 1,500 sample/packing, the entered scope is USD 99,488.80.

Change the wardrobe quantity, scope and packing assumption
The panel price, hardware, lobby scope and volumes are assumptions. Front elevation is not total board area. Containers use aggregate volume, not verified geometry or payload. Service scope, accepted MOQ, current tests, freight, tax, delivery and installation still require the appropriate offers; unknown charges are not free.
These are chosen inputs, not current FOB bands, accepted quantities or customer invoices. Unknown laboratory, freight, insurance, customs, tax, delivery and installation charges remain outside the entered sum, not free. Source Foshan’s published service policy states 3–5% on an agreed basis, no supplier commissions and sourcing orders from USD 10,000 in goods; the proposal defines actual scope, fixed/minimum fees and payment timing.
The volume illustration assumes 0.45 m³ packed per KD wardrobe and 6.8 m³ for the selected lobby pieces. That is 51.8 m³. Maersk lists nominal volumes of 33.2/67.7/76.4 m³ for 20 ft/40 ft/40 HQ. At an assumed 80% planning fill, one HQ provides 61.12 m³, giving one container by aggregate volume here. At 200 wardrobes with the same lobby allowance, 96.8 m³ gives two. Measured cartons, geometry, stack limits, payload, door clearance and the actual loading plan can change that count.
There is no standard sofa or wardrobe count per container. KD can change the packing arrangement but adds assembly and identification work. Compare complete LCL/FCL offers and confirm receiving, repacking, storage charges and readiness. The whole-property budget and container planner handles broader room packages.
05 / The mock-up earns the right to repeat
How do MOQ, mock-ups and phased delivery affect the programme?
A purely illustrative sequence is brief/comparable offers 1–2 weeks, drawings 2–4, sample/mock-up 2–4, production 6–10, inspection/corrections 1–2 and receiving/packing/booking 1–2: 13–24 weeks to loading readiness. Ocean routing, clearance, final delivery and installation are additional. This is not an observed 100-room average or a promise that every supplier accepts these dates.
Agree the actual quantity by model/finish, material purchase minimum, prototype cost, credit conditions, revision rounds, written sign-off and holiday shutdown/restart. A 200-unit headline does not establish acceptance of every variation. For a one-room mock-up followed by repeat rooms, identify any different sample-to-production materials and approve them before the batch.
Split delivery waves by opening/installation zone only after pricing duplicated handling, documentation, shipping and storage. Keep finishes, components, drawings and room labels consistent across waves; record the approver for holding or splitting a shipment. See the multi-apartment handover guide و phased order planning.
06 / A certificate answers a defined question
Which test and export documents belong in the project brief?
Ask the destination professional and appointed laboratory for the applicable product, intended-use and building/project requirements before sampling. Management-system or social-audit documents do not certify sofa fire behaviour, wardrobe emissions or stability. A laboratory logo or a fabric-only certificate does not cover every finished assembly.
For US upholstered furniture within scope, CPSC explains 16 CFR part 1640 and TB 117-2013, including the relevant construction and permanent certification statement. The rule is not a universal open-flame approval. For clothing storage, CPSC states hotel/dormitory units can fall under 16 CFR part 1261; check the actual product scope and required compliance certificate. Hotel use is not automatically an exemption.
US composite-wood products within scope need the relevant TSCA Title VI certification, labelling and records. In the EU, assess the applicable قيد REACH الخاص بالفورمالدهيد الرسمي and its test conditions/exemptions; an E0/E1 stamp is not an automatic substitute. CE marking applies only where relevant EU law requires it, not universally to furniture. Agree exact BS 5852/EN 1021 or other project fire-test scope where relevant, rather than treating different methods as equivalent.
Reconcile contract/PI, item schedule, drawings and sample approvals, commercial invoice, packing list, transport record and applicable origin/product evidence. ISPM 15 covers regulated raw-wood packaging, with processed plywood outside that scope; it is separate from furniture-product biosecurity. Confirm who issues each record and when. No generic Form A/E, fumigation or MSDS package applies to every shipment.
07 / A finding, a correction and a release are different records
How should the project move from sample approval to loading?
- Receive the BOQ, drawings, destination and required usable date.
- Qualify relevant suppliers and reconcile comparable written offers.
- Agree alternatives, exact materials, exclusions and fees.
- Approve physical references and the mock-up decision.
- Sign the contract, payee and payment/release milestones.
- Review agreed in-production checks and controlled substitutions.
- Inspect finished goods, list corrections and document reinspection/release.
- Reconcile cartons, documents, loading, broker and destination handover.
ال QC and claims guide explains sampling limits, product evidence and receiving actions. AQL alone is not a full plan or a guarantee that every unit is flawless. Define the lot, units/features, methods, acceptance criteria, open findings and the person authorised to release payment or shipment.

Agree warranty component/use scope and remedies before ordering. Factory remedy, local importer obligations, transit liability and cargo insurance are separate questions. No automatic 30% deposit, retained balance, free storage or free parts freight is established here. The التزاماتنا في الخدمة و broader hotel project guide provide context for the written engagement.
Hotel and apartment factory questions
Can I buy bulk wardrobes without an agent?
Yes, if the supplier accepts the scope and you arrange drawings, qualification, contracts, inspection, export, import and installation responsibilities. A direct offer does not automatically include these services; an agent is not a substitute for an approved specification.
Which Foshan district should I visit?
Use Lecong for selected product comparisons and arrange relevant production appointments at confirmed addresses, including Longjiang where suitable. Match cabinet and upholstery capabilities separately; district names are not a verified hotel-supplier directory.
What is the MOQ for custom lobby sofas?
Ask for the actual model, finish and material minimum, sample acceptance and any split-colour conditions. A universal 20–50-unit threshold or small-order surcharge has not been verified here. Consolidation does not override the supplier’s minimum.
Can factories follow my designer’s drawings?
Agree file formats, units, revision control, permitted design use, factory detailing and approval. Fitted wardrobes also need verified local dimensions and installer interfaces. A render or reference photograph cannot replace those records.
How many wardrobes fit in one container?
Use measured cartons, safe stacks, dimensions and weights. The model assumes 0.45 m³ per wardrobe plus a separate lobby allowance; its one-HQ result is aggregate-volume arithmetic, not a demonstrated load.
What should a furniture inspection report show?
Identify the order/reference, approved revision, lot and coverage, actual observations, methods, measured results, defect photos, corrections, open actions and release decision. Do not confuse a passed item with acceptance of the whole order.
What is a realistic per-room budget?
Define the exact room kit and public-area scope, then obtain matching offers. The wardrobe/lobby illustration is not a complete room budget or a verified economy/midrange/luxury price band. Include logistics, tax, installation and remedies separately.
How long does the shipment take to my hotel?
Request dated production, sample/lab, carrier and destination programmes. The illustrative 13–24-week sequence ends at loading readiness; it does not include an observed route average or promise an opening date.
