Can furniture from multiple Foshan factories be shipped together?

Yes. Furniture purchased from different factories and showrooms in Foshan can be delivered to one consolidation warehouse before international shipping. Each supplier delivery is received, checked against the project order list, inspected, labelled and stored until the whole project is ready. The combined orders are then re-packed where necessary, organised into one consolidated packing list, and prepared for LCL or FCL shipping.

How sourcing & consolidation pricing works

Two numbers, both visible: the supplier's price and our fee.

You pay the supplier's price for the goods and a separately stated Source Foshan service fee, agreed per project as a percentage of order value or as a fixed project fee, quoted before you commit. Source Foshan does not take commissions from suppliers. Consolidation-only projects are quoted from the supplier list and packing lists instead of order value.

What happens after consolidation

One packing list, one measured CBM, one shipment plan.

Once all approved orders are ready, the consolidated packing list and the final packed CBM are used to plan the shipment. Depending on volume, destination and project requirements, the goods move by LCL or FCL, insured, with customs and delivery handled by the shipping process.

Can you inspect furniture before it enters the consolidated shipment?

Yes. Every delivery gets a quantity and visible-condition check against the order list on arrival. A full inspection against drawings, samples and the seven Source Foshan quality checkpoints, with a photo and video report, is available per item or per day and is standard on projects Source Foshan sourced.

What happens if an item fails QC?

The problem is photographed and sent to you the same day with a recommendation. You decide between rework at the factory, replacement, or acceptance with a discount. The item is held out of the load plan until you sign it off, and the master list shows its status as “Issue” or “Hold” until it is resolved.

Can export packaging be reinforced before shipping?

Yes. Factory packaging made for domestic delivery is assessed on arrival and upgraded for sea freight where needed: corner guards, foam lining, moisture barriers and plywood crates for stone, glass, mirrors and lacquered pieces. Re-packing materials are charged at cost and listed on the packing list per carton.

How long can furniture be stored before consolidation?

As long as the project needs. A consolidation window is agreed at the start; the first weeks are usually included, and longer stays are charged per cubic metre per week and quoted up front. Upholstery is racked and never stacked under casegoods, and long-stay items are re-checked before loading.

When should I use LCL versus a full container?

As a rule of thumb, a full container becomes cheaper than LCL from about 15 m³ of packed furniture. A 20-foot container holds up to about 28 m³ and a 40-foot high-cube about 65–68 m³. The decision is made from the measured packed CBM after consolidation; the shipping page covers routes, terms and transit times.
