Choosing furniture that could move soon

The client selected furniture online for a Milan home, with most of the choices available from stock. The listed dispatch times were within 15 days, helping shape the purchasing plan.

Separate orders were sent to one receiving warehouse. Incoming items were checked, with the client contacted about any issues that might require a return or exchange before international shipment.

One 6.8 m³ shipment

The combined order contained six large items and several smaller pieces, with a total volume of 6.8 cubic metres. Source Foshan's scope covered sourcing, consolidation, packing and the international transport arrangement.

The order travelled in a shared container. Ocean transport and delivery to the home took more than two months combined; this interval includes the delivery stages as well as the time at sea.

Upstairs delivery with a clear assembly split

The destination team opened the packages downstairs, carried the furniture upstairs and placed it in the intended positions. The client assembled two floor lamps personally.

Before leaving, the team collected the packaging and sorted the waste. For an upstairs home, carrying, unpacking and keeping shared access areas clear were practical parts of the handover.
