For an upholstered sofa, the product description should make the configuration and materials identifiable. Ask for the report, not a single result<\/h2><p>Clause 10.1 sets minimum report contents, including product identity, declared unit, boundary, quantification period, method, stage descriptions, data sources, allocation, cut-off rules, result, conclusions and uncertainty. The informative template in Annex F provides a practical place to look for those fields. Ask for the material type, mass and factor source rather than assuming the carton is invisible because the furniture is the declared item.<\/p><\/div><div><b>Where packing work enters<\/b><p>Clause 6.3.3.3 includes the packing process in production. Ask how its shared energy or labour-linked inputs were allocated. These are two inventory questions, not a claim that a report must print separate headline totals.<\/p><\/div><\/div><h2><span id=\"factors\"><\/span>4. Trace the data and factor hierarchy<\/h2><p>The standard prefers site data or supplier-provided factors. If unavailable, it points next to the latest national data or assessed databases, then published literature or industry recommendations; Annex A defaults are a last reference when those sources are unavailable <span class=\"clause\">[7.1.1.6]<\/span>.
